Hi, I’m Marina!

Hair has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as something I simply loved has grown into a career that I feel incredibly lucky to have spent more than 25 years doing.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some wonderful people in the industry, including Vidal Sassoon, Aveda, Matrix, L’Oréal Professionnel, and ARROJO. I’m still learning all the time, and I think that’s one of the things I love most about this career. There’s always something new to discover, create, and get excited about.

I especially love creating custom color and highlights, precision cuts, and working with a razor. But honestly, the hair is only part of what makes this job so special to me.      It’s the people.

I love getting to know the person sitting in my chair — hearing your stories, learning what makes you feel like yourself, and creating hair that feels right for you. I want you to feel comfortable enough to relax, talk, laugh, or simply enjoy a little time for yourself. My clients have become so much more than clients over the years. Many have become friends, and some truly feel like family.

I believe there’s something really special about the way we feel when we love our hair. Sometimes it’s a fresh color, a great haircut, or just taking a little time for yourself that can make you feel a little lighter and a little more confident. Being able to be a small part of that is something I never take for granted.

When I’m not behind the chair at MaJi, you’ll usually find me outside enjoying an adventure, traveling somewhere new, sitting down to a good meal and a glass of wine, or spending time with the people who mean the most to me.

I’m so grateful for every person who has trusted me with their hair over the years, and I’m always excited to welcome someone new into my chair.
